To my family

One of these days you will find me dead, I guarantee you that.

Fuck you both.

Don't patronize me wirth your love statements, your falsities intended to placate me, to get me out of my funk. I know the truth. You might hurt a whie after I'm gone, but you will get over it and live life like I never happened. Meanwhile, you're stuck with me, so deal with it. Like I have to deal with you all the fucking time, 24/7. You have successfully chipped away at me, killing me little by little every day.

I don't have time for this shit.

Stop scrutinizing parents.

I'm so sick of all the criticism around how I raise my child, all the posts and articles about what you're doing wrong as a parent and to stop doing this and that. I'm doing the best I can as a parent, all us parents are doing the best we can. We're doing what we think is right for our children. Fuck you if you don't like it or it's different than what you're doing. Leave us alone and let us raise our kids.

I want so bad to kill myself.

Why is it such a fuckin shame?! Why is it so taboo? It's my life, I should have the right to do with it what I want.

OMG, if you struggle with anxiety or depression, do NOOOOOOOOOTTT become a foster parent!

The system will eat you alive. It preys on the kind-hearted who put the needs of children first.

Kids, you're nothing special.

Being unique is a fallacy.

There is an unfortunate social proclivity to a love of something labelled as "uniqueness," but it is not true uniqueness. We love the "monsters," the "weirdos," the "nerds," and we even encourage our children to become such; but THAT is NOT REALLY unique. Because if enough people are like that, it can no longer be defined as "unique."

You want to know what it's like being unique, truly unique? (I'm not talking about the unique people you see every day, the Lady Gagas and Die Antwoords. I'm talking about those people who make you go, "What the---?!" and stay the fuck away from them.)
1. You're socially outcast-ed and ostracized, just for being really fucking weird, or totally outside of the social norm. Because to be truly unique means you are those things. No one else is remotely like you, so no one is even capable of understanding you. And you know how people respond to what they don't understand. Thta's why truly unique people don't even have a classification they can fit into.

This is as political as I want to get

... Then DON'T vote! We have just as much freedom in this country to NOT vote as we do TO vote. If your conscience dictates ambivalence toward any candidate, then honor your conscience by refraining your vote. If you vote despite this, you are being hypocritical. A non-vote also counts in the election statistics. A silent act is still powerful.

I'm leaning toward not voting for any presidential candidate. And I'm proud of it.

And for the record, Donald and Hillary are not the only candidates on the ballot, you know!

It's just all so much right now.

I just read a FB post from a friend living in Haiti. She states that the US has moved on to newer news and the hurricane devastation in her country is now old news here.

The truth is terrible news like Haiti's is happening all over the world, in practically every country. Ravages of the drug cartel in Mexico. Syria. Hell, the Middle East. Sex trafficking in Asia. And everywhere else, too. Joseph Koney all over Africa. Extremely extreme poverty in India. Social oppression in North Korea. Those are just what comes to my mind right now. If we gave due attention in our news here to all the ills of global societies and cultures, not only would we be so inundated as to not have room for literally any other information, but we would experience a rapid rise in suicide rates... just from the sheer depression of it all.

We have not forgotten Haiti. Or Africa, or Mexico, or India, Asia, Syria, et al. We're not quite that self-absorbed. We're desperately trying to carefully choose the right Presidential representative who can help alleviate these global problems, that also affect us.

At least that's what I'd like to think.
